Already the leading provider of materials passports in six countries across Europe, the arrival of the Madaster platform will be a game-changer for the UK construction industry. The platform will enable the documentation and management of material data for real estate and infrastructure projects. This offers invaluable insights into the composition, location, and circular potential of construction materials. By doing so, Madaster facilitates the reuse and repurposing of these materials, effectively reducing waste, carbon emissions, and resource depletion.

The official launch event is scheduled for November 1st in London, where key stakeholders, industry front runners, and circular economy experts will meet to mark this exciting occasion. The event will feature presentations from Madaster’s leadership team, including our newly appointed Managing Director for the UK, Andrea Charlson, who will discuss the importance of material transparency and the circular economy, present the platform, talk about our plans for the UK market, and invite front runners to join Madaster UK as pioneer partners.

This exciting expansion marks a significant stride in advancing the transition towards a circular economy, with the aim of enhancing sustainability and transparency within the UK’s construction and real estate sectors. After starting in the Netherlands Madaster has quickly expanded to Germany, Austria, Norway, Switzerland, and Belgium. Madaster UK marks the 7th active region in as many years.

The UK instance of the Madaster platform has already implemented Whole Life Carbon RICS reporting and Uniclass and NRM coding structures, this allows users to produce reports seamlessly and automatically through the platform.
